Planning
The goal isn't a demanding task system — it's clarity. What has been done, what is running, who set it up, and what might need doing? A simple record of decisions made and a list of open questions is more useful than a backlog that creates guilt and a sense of lots of plans with little to no execution. Making work visible also makes it easier to pick up: someone who wants to contribute but doesn't know where to start can look at what's open and find something that fits their time and interest. Some kind of task or issue system is needed for this — even a minimal one, as long as there's a shared place where open work lives.
